Q: What does your custom made service involve?

A: You will be ordering a dress that is made to your specific measurements. When you have chosen a dress, you use the 'Pay Now' option which places your order with frockfollies.You will then be emailed a measurement chart to fill out and return. Please also read 'How to Order' Section

Q: What size do your dresses go up to?

A: UK, USA, EUROPEAN Women’s Clothing Size Conversion Chart – All Measurements are in Inches These sizes are here as a guideline only.

When you have ordered a dress, you will be emailed a measurement chart, with a request for more detailed measurements. All the dresses are priced up to a size 26. However some dresses due to their style are divided into two size bands - UK 8-18, and UK 20-26 - and priced accordingly. Details are shown within listings. Q: How much is postage?

A: Postage is is charged at current rates, so changes from time to time. As you proceed through to checkout you will be offered your postage options. Frockfollies ships worldwide. Royal Mail 1st class for UK. Airmail for Europe. Airmail  US/Canada/Australia. (Airsure gets priority handling and is slightly quicker. Airsure is also trackable. Please inquire for prices).


Please note: Once a parcel is passed from Royal Mail UK to Overseas Postal Services, frockfollies cannot accept liability on their behalf.


Q: If I need my dress for a particular date should I check with you before I buy?

A: Yes, if your dress is for a particular date check my availability. All of my dresses are made to order, I do not carry stock. Depending on volume of work, I can often dispatch my custom made dresses within 14-21 days of purchase. However, if you are looking for a dress months in advance of your wedding/event, it is advisable to place an order, to avoid disappointment.

Q: Do you accept urgent orders? 

A: Occasionaly, but it really depends on the volume of orders I have in place.

Q: What if I want the dress in a different colour?

A: There is a section on the measurement chart to state the colour's you would like. All the Crushed Velvet colour's that I use are shown within the various designs. If the dress has a braid, I will say on each listing if it comes in another colour.

Q: What colour's are available in the crushed velvet?

A: Black, Burgundy, Bottle Green, Olive Green Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Purple, Lilac, Oyster, Silver, Cream and White.

Q: Some of your dresses have lacing, is it functional?

A: Yes my lacing is functional, but as my dresses are made to measure the lacing will not need to be pulled in or let out causing distortion of the dress.

Q: Could I order a dress without a train?

A: Yes, trains are optional, a small train is advisable though to help give a dress a good visual line.

Q: Are your dresses returnable?

A: No, frockfollies dresses are non returnable. All orders are accepted in good faith. I will happily accommodate delay due to unforseen circumstances, but I do not accept cancellations. Also, frockfollies dresses are non returnable  because each dress is made to clients individual measurements provided by the clients. When I receive your measurements, I check them thoroughly and query any that I feel may be wrong. 

Q: If I like the style of one dress and maybe the braid or sleeves of another would you be able to accommodate my wishes?

A: Yes, unless for some reason the changes are not feasible.
